This tutorial is for those that have a working knowledge of Psp

Supplies Needed

I have included a few tables and a bench in the zip folder.

Background of choice, I made mine with brushes and preset shapes.

im using the awesome Art of Al Rio. These are PTU tubes and can be purchased at C.I.L.M

Font of choice

Lets Begin

open 700 x 700 flood fill with white

copy and paste the table as new layer and size to your liking, add a drop shadow.

Paste your main tube as a new layer and resize to fit sitting on the bench. Add a drop shadow, I used 3 V & H opacity 60

and blur 10.

If like me you wish to add a 2nd tube, paste as new layer below your first tube and resize to fit, duplicate this layer
and move the duplicate below the table layer. On the original layer of tube 2 erase the parts that cover the table so that

she appears to be seated on the back bench. Add a drop shadow to the duplicate (lower) of these 2 layers.

Paste the ashtray as a new layer and resize to your liking and place on the table.

Add a new layer above your white background layer , select all and paste your background into selection.
( Or make your own as I did).

Go to top layer and add the three smoke layers individually as new layers and place above the cigarette, place to your

liking.

Preset shape of your choice, foreground colour to suit, background null. Iused a straight line style, width 20. Draw your

shape to take in your tubes, table and as much BG as you desire. Convert to raster, effects EC4000 Bevel boss as shown,

bevel profile button. Add a drop shadow.




Magic wand, click inside your shape, selections modify expand 6 and then invert selection. Go to all layers, (apart from

you white background) with parts outside of your shape and delete.

At this point I added a speech box from preset shapes, and wording, but this is optional.


Add your name same drop shadow as desired.

Add copyright info

Resize to choice.

ANIMATION.

X out your 3 smoke layers, highlight bottom layer and merge visible. Layer palette should look like this.


Un X bottom smoke layer, edit copy merged and paste in Animation shop as new animation.
Back in psp X out that layer and un X the 2nd smoke layer. Copy merged and paste iv AS after current frame.
Back to psp again X out that layer and un X the top smoke layer, Copy merged and paste into As after current frame.

Go to the 2nd of your 3 frames, highlight and copy and paste after the 3rd frame. Edit, select all and change the frame

properties to around 40 or as desired.

Crop if necessary and save as gif.
